What makes a salon vegan?

Many don’t think of veganism as anymore than food-related but in fact, the beauty industry sources many of its ingredients from innocent animals.  We want to help change this by providing services using only products that contain zero animal derived ingredients and are also NEVER tested on animals.

What brands do we carry?

Surface Hair – demi permanent hair color & lightener, shampoos, conditioners & styling products.

Pulp Riot – semi & permanent hair color & lightener.

Pura Luxe – Non-toxic amino acid based smoothing treatment.

Olaplex – entire product line.

Monat – shampoos, conditioners & styling products.

IGK –  select styling products.

Are our products gluten free?

Yes!  Every brand we use for coloring and styling, as well as all of our retail for sale is gluten-free.

However, the Pura-Luxe “keratin” smoothing treatment is NOT gluten -free.

Are our products organic?

While we do our best to be as non-toxic as possible, many ingredients used to make hair color simply do not exist in organic form.  We utilize brands that do contain many organic ingredients, like Surface Hair and Monat.  We are always looking for the latest and greatest products and hope that more organic options become available in the future.

Do I need an appointment to come in?

While we are an appointment only salon, we will always try to accommodate walk-ins.  Our schedules and booking times do not always allow for this, in order to guarantee same-day services we recommend booking your appointment in advance.

View our “booking policies” tab for more information on appointments!

Are children allowed in the salon?

We offer services to children of all ages, but we kindly ask that you do not bring children under the age of 5 to your own appointments.  We understand the struggle of making time for yourself as a parent or guardian but the salon can be a very dangerous place for an unoccupied child.  Certain services require you as the client to remain seated and still for long periods of time, keeping track of your child may take away from the accuracy of these processes.  Between the products used to color hair, sharp implements, and hot tools we urge you to understand that the salon is a professional space and not suited for young children.
